As someone who is premenopausal with very fine, yet voluminous 4c hair—I’ve been doing some research (lots of beneficial info from you, thanks :)) for finding ways to thicken and regrow areas of my hair. One of the things that seems common is that once you start using certain types of products, the hair has an intense shedding cycle before it starts back up into a new hair growth cycle. Does that track according to what you know?
I also wonder if any of that has something to do with some of the complaints and trends of hair loss.
Toxic is an understatement! And the fact that these products go viral from tik tok videos by cute young influencers who have no gravitas at all is even more frightening. Now companies need to rethink whether they want this or not because they open themselves up to baseless lawsuits with their success.
