Thank you for this post!

I already use (and love) Ultra Violette SPF (I have always had a easy time ordering via Harrods) but I have been wanting to try Beauty of Joseon's SPF - so I just ordered using your link. Also order the ISA KNOX one to try, because why not!

When I heard older Korean ladies love Isa Knox, I loved Isa Knox EVEN MORE.

Thank you so much for this post! It was just about time for me to stock up again!

Question on k beauty brand “Thank you farmer”-I see Costco carries this now, do you know if they reformulated with US filters? I was surprised to see it there

This is a great question, would need to see the ingredient list but if it's in Korean should be the regular stuff! You can download a translator on your phone and see what filters are in there as well. LMK what you find.

Following up on this, it looks like only changes that were made was adding an English side to the box, but the tubes themselves are identical

I really love Skinnies for my bod but it is a gel. Rubs in great and for those who are older and dry skinned, bonus because it’s moisturizing. I also use wax head, which only has four ingredients and is a physical block sunscreen. Recommended by my dermatologist!

Strongly suggest you try Heliocare (Eu brand). I have no profit or gain. I learned about them from Caroline Hiron’s empties YouTube videos at least five years ago. You can find them on Care to Beauty here: https://www.caretobeauty.com/heliocare/

Hi Charlotte! After you turned me onto BoJ, I’ve sworn off all other SPF. I’ve recently done Moxy laser though. They stressed I need to use 100% mineral SPF throughout recovery. I am desperate to find one that is super duper moisturizing and unlikely to sting, not have actives in it. The medspa sold me Colorscience (untinted). I’m thinking you would know a better one to go with if you have time to comment. I’m doing a series of 3 so can use your recommendation next time.

The office told me not to use my skin care actives, just my recovery balm, until all the redness settles. Do you all recommend any Dieux products for laser recovery?

What is the difference between the orange and the green Purito? I’ve only used the older formulation of the Daily Go-To. Thank you!!!

Hi Charlotte!

I bought the Isa Knox sunscreen after reading this newsletter. I’d been on the hunt for a body sunscreen for literal years. I’m a pale redhead and tend to just stay indoors but sometimes going out will be unavoidable, as I’m sure we all know. It smells DIVINE, and I can see why the old ladies all love it! Very easy to apply daily. Thank you so much!

Love, a gal who hates the smell of sunscreen so much because it reminds her of tearful childhood summers not being able to be outside much with the other kids, getting dragged to the beach when she hated being outside covered in sand and sunscreen slime, and getting easily burnt even after applying the horrible smelling sunscreen 😂
